Helping Keep Children Safe on Johns & Wadmalaw Islands
iCAN is proud to partner with the St. Johns Fire Department to improve child passenger safety on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands.
During free Car Seat Safety Check Events, certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians inspect car seats, check installations, answer questions, and provide education to help families keep children safe on the road.
For families who qualify, iCAN provides a FREE child safety seat and training for installation and use through the fire department.

No. Families must attend a Car Seat Safety Check Event to be eligible for a free child safety seat.
Is there a cost?

No. Car Seat Safety Check Events are free to residents of Johns and Wadmalaw Islands and child safety seats are provided free of charge for qualifying families.
