Providing FREE Resources & Services to the Families on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands

Our Network

The Islands Community Advocacy Network (iCAN) was created in 2021 when it became clear to members of the Exchange Club of Kiawah & Seabrook Child Abuse Prevention Committee that many of their grant recipients could be more effective and have a greater impact by communicating with each other and through collaboration. Since its launch the network has expanded to include schools, churches and other community serving organizations, all providing free recourses to the community. Our Mission

The mission of the Child Advocacy Network is to improve the lives of children and families on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands by connecting needs with resources and ideas with action. We support the Exchange Club of Kiawah and Seabrook’s commitment to prevent child abuse and promote every child’s health, nutrition, and education.
