iCAN is a coalition of charitable organizations, government organizations and schools working together to serve our neighbors in need on Johns and Wadmalaw Island.

Our Network

The Islands Community Advocacy Network (iCAN) was created in 2021 to help charitable organizations, schools and government organizations in our community be more effective and have a greater impact by communicating with each other and through collaboration.

iCAN’s work is built around 3 pillars (ARC): Awareness, Resources and Connection.  We raise awareness to ensure neighbors in need know about the range of free services organizations in our network provide, including: food and clothing assistance, educational and job support, medical, dental, and healthcare services, financial assistance, grief support, and child abuse prevention, and we help connect neighbors who are struggling with the best possible resources and solutions.
